Mistakes in your marketing material, website copy or important correspondence create a poor impression with your customers. Let me cast a professional eye over your documents before you make an expensive mistake.
I have extensive experience of editing (revising) translations and original English documents written by non-native speakers. A word of warning – if the translation is very poor it may be better, quicker and cheaper to start from scratch! Either way, I’m happy to have a look at your document for you and discuss the best way forward.
If you need a translation from English into French, a subject area I am not able to cover, or an interpreter rather than a translator, the best places to look are:
- Institute of Translation and Interpreting (www.iti.org.uk)
- Chartered Institute of Linguists (www.iol.org.uk)
Both of these online databases are free of charge and allow you to search by language combination, subject area and location. Or contact me and I’ll do my best to help.
